Résumé
Good day!
I'm happy to share information concerning myself with you!
I've completed a BS degree in software development at DeVry University.
I find the idea of creating software to be interesting, so I'm excited to explore ways in which I can learn about it and incorporate it into my career.
My prior experience includes working as a CAD technician and working in a Network Operations Center.
Projects
Senior Project
The project involves identifying a technology-related problem of a well-known company. From there, the pros and cons of two technology solutions are considered. From there, one of the solutions is selected. Then a plan for implementing the solution is drafted. Once implemented, arrangements are made for on-going monitoring and evaluation of the implemented solution.
Fundamentals of Infrastructure Security
Used Virtual Machines (VMs) in Azure labs to configure rules for firewalls, explore SSL encryption, exploite Microsoft vulnerabilities, detect network intrusion and do live memory analysis.
Business Application Programming with Lab
Using Java Swing components to create GUI
applications. Makes use of expandable array lists. Updates files and databases using GUIs created by Java.
Data Structures and Algorithms Labs
Working with using different algorithms to perform operations on data (searching, adding, sorting, etc) to find which ones work best under a variety of situations.
Object Oriented Programming with Lab
Concerns a program for making a variety of different kind of vehicle objects using object oriented programming. Employs the use of pointers, inheritance, polymorphism, composition and explains how the code works.
Fundamentals of Information System Security Project
Covers file encryption / decryption, implementing stateful firewalls, writing BYOD policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA) and working with vulnerability assessment tools
DJ (Disk Jockey) program that allows adding songs to music collection, viewing playlist reports and saving playlists as a text document. Written in C++. Am continuing to work on improvements for this.
The file is a zip file containing the code
as a C++ file (with .cpp file extension) and a powerpoint presentation
concerning the program. There's also the code for the project saved
as a Microsoft Word document and as a text file.
Multi Traffic Controller with pushbuttons for emergency and pedestrian crossing. Uses PIR sensor to detect presence of pedestrians.
Using data analytics in Python to manipulate data collected from DTH11 sensor.
Home Security System using the IoT.
Installing Virtualization and RTOS (Real Time Operating System)
